My assumption is because typical people don't know that there is no such thing as a "t-cup" Yorkie. By putting it in their ad, they are hoping to get a greater response.

Hopefully the person has a very good F.A.Q. page regarding t-cups on their website and that they don't exist. If the people that read the ad go to the website, they will get more information about t-cups and that they don't exist. So at least the person that placed the ad received more "foot traffic" to their website. Traffic that might not have happed if not for the "t-cup" in the ad.

At least I hope that was their intent by putting it in their newspaper ad. I know many Yorkie websites that use key word advertising on google use "t-cup" as a key word that way people can see their website when they search using the word "t-cup". This is just to get the people to the site THEN the owner can describe the facts regarding "t-cups".

I can't tell you how many people call us and ask specifically for a "t-cup" or "tiny". Not everyone understands that there is no such thing and the problems they are in store for (many times) with a very small Yorkie.
