Three days after getting my baby she had a really bad cough and I took her into the vet and he told me it was kennel cough. He recommeded that I give her 5 days worth of shots as that will clear up the cough faster instead of using antibiotics. Luckly, my friend is the vet assistant so she wdropped by my house to give my baby her shots. She stopped coughing after the shots were given and hasnt't since! Why don't you try asking for a more invasive course of action toward her cough because maybe the antibiotics to take home isnt working. Hope he is okay now!!
