I dont' remember the antibiotic, as it was 3 years ago. He definitely had a bad case of kennel cough. He was coughing horribly. It would wake us up a night. There were times I thought he wasn't going to pull out of it, but he did.

I'll try to contact my vet sometime today and see if they have a record of the antibiotic that finally worked. Of course, it may not do the same for your baby as each one is different. But it's worth a try. I'll see what I can do.

I know he started sleeping better through the night when we got him the bed. It seemed any breeze at all in the house made it worse. Kind of like a child with a cough. We turned the little opening in the bed towards our headboard to ensure that no breeze at all hit him at night.

I promise you, kennel cough is bad and really hard to treat. But it does get better. Sometimes it just takes longer. And we are deligent about keeping him up-to-date on his kennel cough vaccination every 6 mos. I don't ever want him to go through that again.
