We had just the thinest remnant of ice from our weekend ice storm left on the patio this morning. Roxie had been out there a number of times, with no problems , but then this am she went out and did the strangest flip and a half - I saw it just as I was shutting the door. She got right up and wasn't visibly hurt, but she did come right back in the house - which isn't like my girl who loves to be outside even in the cold.
I was so thankful that she seems ok. I think it really scared her though. I had ran out of ice melt, but will be off to get more in the morning before another storm hits here tomorrow.
