Dear Jacki,

I know you love the shoes. I know you graduated from High School in them and they have sentimental value. I know they're cute and summery, with the perfect heel height. I know you got them on sale and that you could never, EVER find another pair as cheap or cute as these shoes you wore today.

But here's the thing, Jacki. They gave you 4 GIGANTIC blisters today. You knew this would happen because they have done the same thing every time you wear them. So here's my advice to you: Don't wear the shoes. You can look at them and love them and pet them and buy them dinner, but don't put them on your feet. Only an idiot would wear those shoes several times, hoping for a different outcome.

I know you're a smart one, so I hope you can learn from your mistakes next time.
