I usually don't put sweaters or coats on them to potty unless it's in the single digits. Cold air is like cocaine to my boys. It makes them sooo hyper. They fly around the yard a couple times, do their business and then fly back into the house at about 30mph. (good thing I'm always watching to hold the door open)!!
