It works like a Swiffer basically, but you get reusable, washable microfiber pads to clean the fllor. Spray the zep hardwood floor cleaner, let it set a few seconds if you have stuck on stuff, then just wipe away. No water, no bucket. If you don't have hardwood floors, you can use any kind of all purpose cleaner in a spray bottle. Like diluted Mr. Clean or whatever you usually use for floors.
