Either the picture turns out too dark and ALL you can see are the lights and nothing else - or either the picture comes out too bright and you can see the tree but the lights don't show up at all.

I am not sure either, but I am like hit and miss . . . I know this thread just asked for christmas tree photos, but I absolutely love my favorite room in the house and it sure got the perfect lighting when I took it last year . . . which is what you are probably wanting . . .oh and a picture of my tree in the background with the correct lighting . .
