I have one or two litters a year and when it is time to part with them and send them to their forever homes and families .... I always cry. It's hard to hand them over, but if you have done your homework and have done your very best to find them a safe and loving environment ...those tears are of happiness too.
It is so rewarding to see how much they are loved and how much joy they bring to these new families and what is most helpful, is that they ALL keep in touch. My family has grown quite large to include all these new wonderful people and if it were not for that... I do not think I could continue.
I wish you luck finding new homes and I am sure that there are families out there looking for just that right puppy .... which you are holding for them... lovingly. |
