me and my fiance are going to costa rica for christmas for a week and luckily we have a great family! my mom is flying into town to take care of little dexter and the cat tommy for the week that we are gone! its costing her around $600 for the flight to spend christmas in my appartment with my furbabies! lol. (my sister lives in town too so she wont be totally alone) i am so unbelievably thankful to her as i was worried about dexter staying with my sister (she has a tiny chihuahua with back problems) or a friend of mine in a strange appartment. i feel so much better that he will be in his home with his grandma and "brother" tommy, but i am still anxious about leaving him! has anyone left a puppy (hes 4 1/2 months, will be just over 5 months when we go) with a family member before? how do they adjust? why do i feel so anxious and guilty for leaving him!?
from now on, only vacation that dexter can come on will be planned!!
