Ideally yeah, but there have been MANY instances where long time, good hearted YT members have been completely screwed over by newcomers. Both emotionally, and financially--people have had their money stolen, their dogs stolen, have made donations to help people out only to find out it was all a scam. That is why so many ARE so cautious.
And before it gets twisted and turned around, I am NOT saying that is the case with this OP, just a general statement. It's kind of hard to give people the benefit of the doubt anymore.
