Everyone says "get another' but I know she will not be replaced.
I have started to think about another dog in the near future. Maybe after christmas.
I have a concern now of leaving a yorkie with my vet when I go on vacation. We are gone 2 weeks out of the year and most places dont take dogs.I have never used this vet but anyone around here that has a dog goes there and raves about the vet. He loves animals so, I will more than likely change to this vet when we get a new dog.
Has anyone here left there dog either boarding or with a vet. Do they board OK.
My relatives now have too many dogs and I would not leave a yorkie with them anymore.
Please give me advice on boarding. We are going on vacation in April and I and concerned about having to put our Yorkie at the vet for a week. |
I lost one 4 years ago, vet killed him, gave him medication that the year prior to he had a reaction, and although his chart was small, he was healthy, that vet gave him the same shot, and he died...I was there watching him helplessly while he tried to breath...it was so devastating to us, he was 5 years old...he will never be replaced. But by me going on and needing another dog to love, just shows that he was so loved and now so missed that we could not live without.
Hope you get a new baby, they will be so different, they all are, but that new baby, will keep you going, and love happens, how can it not...it helps the healing more then one realizes...good luck.....pooh's mum
