Hi. I've searched the threads and can't seem to find the answer to this. Yesterday when we got in from being outside for maybe 5 minutes, Sully was trying to lick his back paws a lot and doesn't usually do this, so we looked and the two middle nails on both back feet (and one of the front ones after looking at them) are all white going down the middle to the base of the nail- it almost seems like the bottom part of the nail is split or chipped! Do you think this is from the recent colder weather? Should I take him to the vet? I last cut his nails about 2 weeks ago..

Any help would really be appreciated!
