I'd suggest that you go to a show and watch the yorkies carefully. Ask questions of the exhibitors of the dogs that caught your eye after they are out of the ring. You can find a list of show breeders in your area under the YTCA website as well. Finding your first show dog is important and exciting, hopefully you'll find the perfect breeder/mentor as well.
