Default goldens saved from side of road

http://www.adoptagoldenatlanta.com/o...id=948&frame=2

i was on my way home going up hwy 231 in ozark al one afternoon about 12pm and noticed a vehicle stopped on the side of the raod in front of a car dealership there was a dog lying there that wasn't getting up. i turned around and stopped came back to help! this golden retriver had been hit by a car and no telling how long she had been lying there they were scared to pick her up because she was injured and didn't know how she would react...i picked her up and put her in the back of their suv she wan't mean at all but obviously in pain turns out they had called the emergency line at the vets office i work at and had just left for the day as we close at noon on sat. so we went to leave and another golden looks like her twin appeared..of course we couln't leave her behind. we got back out shes skitish but frantically looking for her sister? i took off my belt and used it for a leash and also placed her in the suv she was happy to see her freind back to the vets office we went. one was ok not even a scratch but the 1st one we kept with us her hip on one back side broken and leg at the knee on the other side she couldn't walk at all a few days later she had surgery to rremove the ball in her hip and wored it back together to heal i helped with the surgery . she would try to walk but her leg would just flop out to the side the hip has to heal about a week later she had surgery on her knee it had to be pinned and casted. for awhile she couldn't walk and i would put a towel under her to support her back end and try to get her back to walking! eventually she started putting weight and walking even though she thought the towel was doing most of the work it was her getting better already . the women that stopped to get her came to visit and would get upset at the way her legs would go thinking it didn't look good but i assured them it does and shes doing well! this hasn't been even 2 months ago and now they are at the rescue in atlanta ga that agreed to take them together i hope they can find a great home with a fenced yard to live happily ever after! i did take to the one who had been hit but i couldn't take her home nor did i want to sepereate them.
