BTW, I learned this from a pharmacist on another forum I belong to when this exact question came up. Unless a pill is prescored for cutting, they are not made to be divided. |
We cut the pill into thirds because it is so big, but we do give all the cut portions to her that very same day. But I feel so bad because it's like giving her 3 pills in 1 day, when in reality, its just 1 huge pill cut into pieces
