I flew with my Coach carrier. On the first flight there it was a small plane so it was a tight fit under the seat, in fact I almost couldn't fit it
On the way back it fit under the seat just fine. The woman at the ticket counter on the flight back commented that the bag should have ventilation on atleast 2 sides (my Coach only has ventilation on one side) but didn't make a huge deal out of it.
