While I do believe a lot of backyard breeders and puppy millers advertise in classified ads and what not, I do not think its fair to think that just because you advertise there means they arent a good breeder. It all comes down to screening, for buyers AND sellers.
I have writen to many people asking about their dogs and had questions, you can usually tell right off which ones care about their dogs. It's very hard to find a good breeder over the internet and know %100 of what you are getting. There will always be risks involved. I have checked with many breeders in my local area, many of which only breed fad "teacups" or those that dont want to answer my questions or get back to me or help me in finding what I am looking for. Therefore I am kinda forced to take the risk of searching elsewhere.
