I have 2 that came from overseas and I had to have the tails docked when they arrived. I kinda think these yorkies are really old to put them through the tail docking. My little ones were a lot younger and they seem to do ok.. I do know that you have to find the right vet who will do this for you. A lot of vets seemed to have a problem with it being just for looks.. But YES you will have to have the tails done if you are planning on showing. Good luck.. I hope all goes well.
