It's really amazing what happens when you become a breeder....You are then a business and then you are at the mercy of the public.....people think your life revolves around them. Those things happen.
As far as returning her money, if you don't have that clause in your contract and even if you do and she hasn't signed it....you must return the money.....I would return it anyway and keep the pup.
As far as people not wanting pups at 4 months of age, there are plenty of people that want them then, they have all their shots and most likely are at least piddle pad trained. The up side of this is that this is the Holidays....better for the pup and you won't have to worry that the pup will be neglected, this is a busy time of the year.
As far as pricing...it depends on the region you live in and the quality of the pups.
