Is it OK to switch to a different heart worm medication on the whim? Ariel is on Heartgard, and the tablets are HUGE. We usually give it to her in thirds because she can't break it down herself. It's like giving her 3 pills in a day, once a month. Belle is on Interceptor and her tablet is so much smaller than Ariel's ... and she's 5x her size.
