if you really want to potty train him for outside, you have to start NOW. Otherwise, it is very hard to reverse it. get your baby a good warm sweater and find ONE treat that he loves and give that treat to him only and I mean ONLY when he goes potty outside. Soon he'll learn to go out and do his business as fast as he can and then he gets to come back inside where it's warm!
