I am also traveling w/mine to florida. Just make sure you book the pet along with your own flight and get a health certificate.
good luck--my Lola is usually pretty mellow so I hope she will be good on the plane. I just wish I could take her out of the crate since all she ever wants to do is sit on my lap and would sleep for the 2 hours if she could
