Can you try those sprays or pills that are on the market???

We had a cat (llloooonnngggg time ago) and she was always nervous in the car....the vet recommended some spray (sorry can't remember) and it always worked well. You just spray in close to the animal every now and then to keep them calm? Some how, it worked.
