Hi everyone. I have been lurking for awhile, and I love this forum. I have always wanted a yorkie, and finally my husband got me one for Valentine's day. It was love at first sight when I saw him with his brothers. He already is stuck to me. He whines if I leave him with someone else and leave the room. If I put him on the floor he will roam a bit, but then comes right by my leg for me to pick him up. I ended up sleeping on the recliner with him on my chest last night because he whined so much when we went to bed. I definitely don't want this to become habit, so any suggestions/advice would be great on getting him to sleep in his crate. It breaks my heart to hear him cry.
I am so much in love with this little guy. His name is Quincy, and sometimes I call him Sir Quincy. Of course my husband has to call him something different--just Q and once called him Q-Dog.
He is 12 ounces right now and 6 and half weeks old. I don't know what color he'll end up being. His grandparents are silver while his mom and dad are blue/gold. I still can't believe I finally have a yorkie. I've been reading up on them and how to care for them for over a year now in preparation of getting him.
Anyway, I think everyone here is great and I look forward to getting to know all of you and your yorkie babies. I've looked through the pictures, and they are all so beautiful!
I am so sorry this is so long!
I've attached picturs of my baby.
