Somehow it is posted on so many reliable sites that good breeders are aginst the mixes... if you "must" have a mixed baby you need to be extra carefull... the main reasons for breeding are obvious: "betterment of the breed they love" !!!! If you love the mixed you need to make sure you check out the breeder really well and get a health garantee in writing... in another hand it is a fact that pure breds are very susceptible to congenital diseases, in theory a mixed breed should have less probability of inherit some defective recessive genes ....
