Meka went through a short phase of not eating her food. We had her on Iams for a while and she just wouldnt eat it. I had to get her to eat it, by feeding her from my hand... She scratched a lot, which I determined was caused by the food - so we switched to Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul and Ive never had that problem again. We feed her twice a day and she's always ready to eat... So, perhaps you might want to consider changing her food...

Each pup is different. Ive always feed Meka twice a day. We started out letting her free feed and she almost always never really ate that much. So feeding her twice a day is what worked best for her. Keep in mind that they are pups... and if a humans stomach is the size of a fist, then a pups stomach is by far much smaller.
