My heart goes out to you. I followed your Newman story and my heart broke for you.
We had to have our first Yorkie put down, too, due to cancer and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I still miss Scruff, but he wasn't the "velcro dog" that Ozzie is so it's impossible to really compare the two. But each of these little ones is their own personality. I didn't want another dog after Scruff, but Ozzie melted my heart and helped me heal. I hope that Lilly can do the same for you. After all, you rescued her … here's hoping she will rescue you right back.
