my Remy was an insane barker at the age of 9 weeks ! Yikes... my neighbour filed a complaint against me with the city bylaw office 2 weeks after I brought Remy home . So I reluctantly got a citronella collar and put it on her. It sends an odorless spray up in front of her face when she barks and this startles her and she stops barking . It has worked wonders , now she barks only if there is a reason and then only if she is'nt wearing the collar. Please understand this is NOT shock collar there is no pain , the spray makes a hissing noise when it shoots up infront of her face.
Remy is now almost a year old and seldom has to wear the collar .
