It really depends on exactly what the rules are, but they CAN kick you out if they're strict about it. You could always say you're watching Pixie for a friend if someone asks.
If there's any space you can keep her where you can puppy proof it (Like a bathroom), I would suggest that. And if you have an old sweatshirt or something that smells like you, it will help with the stress. Also, an AM or FM radio would probably help if you don't want to leave the TV on. Changes are hard on puppies, so I'm sure she'll get used to your new place.
