Sometimes Layla will hack when she gets too excited...
i think, like everyone else does, that you need to ignore (I KNOW>... SO hard) her when she is upset.. because when you cuddle her you are telling her her behavior generates attention... so she will keep doing it... maybe after he hacks and she gets scared.. can you intice them back together with a favorite treat?? maybe sit on the floor and call them both over with this super great treat and praise them for being such good girl and boy
i'm sure she is so upset that something is bothering him. poor girl.. she's had a rough couple days! I remmeber another member who was having probelms because since her pups got her cast off and walked funny (or something like that) her other pup wont' even eat in the same room as the other one.. so they can sense when something is wrong.
