With my 4, I do free feed, They have learned to take turns, they each eat thru out the day, there biggest meal is dinner, Sometimes 2 at a time will share, other time just one, I have never had a problem, sorry i cant be of much help.They only eat a few kibble at a time and walk away, then the next starts and so on. good luck, hopefully someone will have a better idea
