We have three... We do not free feed.
When it is time to eat, everyone has their own dish in the kitchen and when they are finished eating, they must leave the bowl area. We don't allow anyone to even sniff someone else's bowl.
It was tough at first but now it's just the routine.
Good luck with yours...it takes some time so don't get discouraged.
