For awhile now when Simon gets overly excited he hacks a little which is no big deal but it is absolutely terrifying for Hallie. She runs to me and shakes uncontrollably for a good 20min. This afternoon Simon was barking at squirrels and started his hacking noise and Hallie is still scared. She won't go anywhere near Simon, she just follows me around and sits in my lap shaking or tries to crawl up my leg. It's getting worse and I don't know what to do for her. I tell her he is okay but she is avoiding him completely and has been for hours now.

Anyone know what I can do for her?
