UPDATE:
Well, I went to Best Buy this weekend to see if they could help me figure out this whole transferring images from my camcorder to my PC thing. Apparently, with the model of camcorder I have, the only way to do it is to either
a) transfer it to a DVD and then to my PC...not an option since I don't have a DVD recorder
or
b) you have to have a special type of plug in on your PC (not USB) that connects to your camera. New models of PCs have them, but I don't since mine is a couple of years old.
So unless I can figure something out in the next week, we might do a couple of small clips with our digital cameras, and then mostly still pics.
I'm sad because I really wanted to do video. The camera was a gift, so I couldn't do research and find one that would work for me.
