muzzle The standard states that the muzzle should "not be too long"..making it open to interpretation as to what is too long or too short. I prefer shorter, refined muzzle/head, not a longer terrier one...
Yorkies as a rule to do not have the breathing problems that come with a "push" nosed breed like a bull dog, pug, peke..those can suffer greatly in the summer heat and are prone to heat strokes.
I have not found short muzzled Yorkies prone to bad bites...but some may..
