i'm so sorry for what your going through..believe it or not i went through the same thing with my step dad but guess what one day my mom got sick of it and after 22 yrs of being married she left him!and now she is sooo happy
so i will pray that your mom will build the strength to stand her ground and let him know that she does not deserve to be treated this way.. i usto fight with my stepdad like you would not beilieve and he's raised me since i was a baby so he's more like my real dad. it got sooo bad that i even threw a drink in his face(i have a really bad temper
)but now that i'm older and he's older he knows what lines NOT to cross with me. i still show him respect, and i think that by me still showing him respect and loving him, it really makes him feel bad for the way he treated us. so i hope everything turns out okay for you and your family. were all always here to listen to you whenever you need someone to talk to.
