I'll have to try the sock over the bottle thing too. I know Chip chased around a 2 liter bottle before and loved it. I also heard that you can put rocks or something in it to make noise and put a sock around it and that will entertain them too...
Talk about weird stuff that entertains dogs... my cousin's kitten's favorite toy is a bottle cap. He goes crazy over that!
