I have a very lively 8 wk. old Female yorkie. First I named her Emma, but have changed it to Paris Hilton because she has an arrogant attitude, growls when you tell her 'NO' and prances around like she's the queen. In short, she's a little bitch
. I laugh at her constantly.
Anyway, is the biting thing simply a puppy phase that she will outgrow or will she continue? She bites during play, but can be a little nippy when playing. I firmly tell her NO when she bites and ussually give her something like a greenie or small bone to chew on when she gets like that, but it hasn't slowed her down. I've been giving her a firm thump on her nose when she bites, but it appears to be egging her on to bite more, so i'm going to stop.
So, in your experience with puppies, is this something that she will likely outgrow or are there some steps that I can take to curb her desire?
Thanks -
Al
