I live 2 hours south of Orlando. I agree with everyone else, the humidity is something you have to get used to. I like Florida but I will say that it has gotten pretty busy with a lot of people moving here in the last couple of years so traffic can be annoying. Also, be prepared to deal with hurricanes, although we had not one scare this year.
It is awful nice not to shovel snow! I hate the cold! Anything under 70 is cold to me.
