 My mom just had it done...
She's a very healthy 70, and they did it as an out patient then sent her right home. She did it early on a Friday morning and was home by noon. I guess it's better than staying in a hospital where some germs might creep in.
She felt some soreness in 'the center cut' but not enough for her to take the meds they sent her home with. (I SO can't believe that I'm her daughter. I'd want to sleep for a couple of days and wake up when the 'soreness' was gone!!)
She's had to take it easy the last couple of weeks, but it didn't slow her down much after that first weekend...
So take deep cleansing breaths, know you're in our prayers, and in the words of Larry the Cable Guy "Get 'er done!" (I just LOVE that guy! Have everyone at work saying that!) |
