^^^She speaks the truth!!!! You can't let the dog have the run of the house and then swat him with a newspaper after he has pooped....YOU are responsible for him. If you think crating is cruel, what about being spanked with a newspaper??? and not knowing what you did to deserve it?


You have to catch them in the act, or leave him in a confined room...like a laundry room or kitchen. Also, some dogs...weird as it may sound don't like to do #1 and #2 on the same pad...maybe have 2 separate ones just in case your pup happens to fall into this category... hope that helps a little.
