I used to have this problem with Gracie. All I did is put the piece of poop that I found on the floor on a remote corner of the pad, so she has room to go without stepping in the old doo doo. If I catch her in the act, I give the correction. With time, she has gotten entirely consistent with pooping on the pad. Every once in a while she will start on the pad, dump it in the middle so she has no room to spin if she needs to go more. At that point she will finish off the pad. Soooo, I give her lots more poop room by scattering some newspapers underneath the pee pads.
