I think she probably just said that out of spite or plain old jealousy! Some mother-in-laws try to erk you any way they can, who knows why. My ex-bf's mother used to torture me all the time. She would say stuff like "Danny has to go back home to find a "real" wife to take care of him. And other things like "well, you look pretty wide in this picture."
I'm a size 4-5, I can't look that wide!!!
But my new bf's mom is so nice, I really do love her. We get along great!
Just ignore your mother in law, or if it will help, find something to criticize her for, and get her back. |
