Very cool project!!! You should be really proud!! Like I said, it's really beautiful just the way you have it. That first logo is just the part that struck me when I first opened the site. And even with the second static logo, I was still struck by the opening.
Great suggestion! I'll play around in Photoshop and see if I can make that work nicely.
