you never know when you will meet up with a situation where you will need to show proof of ownership and rabbie shots. Last year a man in my neighborhood (who I never met before) lost his Yorkie. His dog looked nothing like my two but the first thing he did when he was talking to me about his dogs was to check my dogs tags. When someone is looking for trouble (for whatever the reason) you don't want to be un prepared...esp when it comes to your furkids.
