In my county in Florida, a dog tag showing that the dog has had it's rabies shot must be displayed any time it is outside your home.........even in your own yard, it is required. Any kennels require all documentation also that the dog has be innoculated against rabies and other vaccinations before they will accept them especially the bordatella. I always wear tags on them in the car or when we are out but also carry in a folder all their information regarding rabies, shots, microchip information and a picture of each just in case something happens.
