grooming takes time...takes so long for a good bath and all the extras they do, drying completely, brushing out, and haircut. If a dog is matted or won't be still, it takes even more time. I think three hours is very reasonable. And groomers have to make money...it's hard work to be a groomer...not just playing all day with puppies like some people think. You can get some really hard to handle dogs, aggressive dogs, nervous dogs, dirty dogs, matted dogs, flea/tick-covered dogs....groomers get bitten and scratched. It's hard work to be a good groomer.
