I now have 2 Yorkies, and I already see great differences in their personalities. Sophie has always been 'high' maintenance in that she likes constant playtime, lots of interaction, and she always has to have me nearby when she naps.
We brought Daisy home yesterday. Her temperament is sweet, but very laid back. She was up a lot during the night to pee, but she always went back to sleep with only a small whimper. As soon as I put my fingers in her crate, she would calm and go back to sleep. Today, she has spent a lot of time in her x-pen, sleeping, exploring, playing and eating. I can leave the room and she continues to sleep! Very unlike Sophie. I am hoping she will continue to be laid back. Don't get me wrong. I *adore* Sophie and every aspect of her little personality. But it would be nice if one of them were a bit more laid back.
Those of you who own more than one, do they have different levels of neediness/maintenance?
