You... as the human have to take the precautions. On the farm we always walked w/ a cow shocker... long stick that shocked cows (don't know why I was too young to remember what they were really for) and if any stray dog... wolf... whatever came up to you ... you could shock them. Most of the time they are scared of humans... however if you just let your pet run off leash... they would be a tasty treat for the cat! |
hmm..maybe a good precaution would be to just shoot it next time you see it... I just don't think it's normal when wild animals are willing to get that close to humans. I know if coyotes start getting too close to houses then that means there are too many of them.
